DADs have been given funds from the Team England Footballers Charity to enable kids and youths to participate in football outreach, particularly those affected by the 2007 floods in Hull.
DADs were one of eleven projects selected by the England players prior to an international football match and have since sent a good luck message on film and via a signed letter.
The project will focus on establishing small group of kids and youths to play football on parks and school grounds, the aim is to enourage several dads to volunteer and participate with their kids and their friends in 5-a-side matches.
There will be a series of workshops setup to produce a safety manual about football and weather during the summer period. The book will then be published and sent to the England team.
