The Football & Freedom Limited social enterprise setup in 2007 to support the DADs charity is working towards a national press launch in the Autumn period. The footballfreedom.co.uk website designed and upgraded by strawberry is going online in May, 2008 and will be at the centre of an eMatrix of eShops and eLearning tools.
The clothing brand that will be at the centre of the social enterprise has been created by a dedicated team, in addition a leading London based marketing company is working with Football & Freedom to establish a national and global social brand.
Several other Football & Freedom concepts will also be launched later in 2008 and early 2009 including a global programme of 90 Minute Seminars with associated publications. After Foca 08 in Bosnia & Herzegovina organised by streetfootballworld, both social and academic partnerships have been made to work together to create opportunity through football development.
In addition to the eCommerce, Football & Freedom will be building a membership programme that wil enable the social enterprise to build a strong Board of Directors of enthusiastic and dedicated members through an annual election process.
Pre launch sales for t-shirts and badges have been very positive with orders from individuals and retail outlets. Annual profits will focus on supporting DADs and other good causes related to the DADs programme.
