A representative from Team England Footballers Charity travelled to Hull to film and interview selected DADs beneficiaries at West Park, Hull to find out how the funds donated by the England players has helped them.

The Team England Footballers Charity was setup after they failed to qualify from EURO 2008 and DADs was one of eleven selected charities to deliver outreach programmes.

The first phase of the project is nearing completion with weekly football outreach sessions, the second phase will begin in late September with those who have already participated in the programme, invited to fairplay football workshops, these workshops will also enable beneficiaries to prepare information packages to be sent in February 2009 to each England player. There are also plans to meet an England player in the not-to-distant future.

A press release will be available for the second phase of the project with a contact number for further information.

Also at the West Park session was the Deep Water flood project who interviewed beneficiaries and parents about the how the floods affected their lives. The Team England Players Charity was also interviewed because the funding was given to support DADs Beneficiaries after the devastating floods in Hull, 2007.
