DADS are now taking a full team to South Africa for the Football for Hope Festival organised by streetfootballworld in 2010. The Festival is an official FIFA World Cup event.

NACRO which was DADs partners cited staffing issues being responsible for pulling out of the Festival at the last minute, the timing mean't that it was to late to find any new partners, all of the thirty two teams going to the Festival are mixed organisations.

Wendy Broomfield the Festival Co-ordinator said "this is a challenge for DADs and we will be working with two of our senior school partners, one from Hull and one from the East Riding of Yorkshire who have confirmed their participation this week".

All together there will be eight beneficiaries with four support staff including a young leader from DADs; whilst all the accommodation, food, travel in South Africa is covered by streetfootballworld/FIFA, the airfare costs will be covered by DADs.

In September a press conference will introduce the schools and beneficiaries and also launch the DADs campaign to raise funds to create a legacy for South Africa which will be focused on a new exchange scholraship programme. Football & Freedom will be instrumental in organising fundraising events whilst DADS continues with outreach work.
