DADs Football for Hope Team meets the PM

Gordon Brown PM said "I'd like to wish the DADs team the best of luck for the forthcoming FIFA Football For Hope festival which is taking place at the same time as the World Cup in South Africa. The festival will not only showcase the game of football, but also its ability to bring people together."
The DADs team travelled to London to meet the Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Hull local MP Alan Johnson. Co-ordinated by DADs also in attendance was Street League, Kick4Life, FIFA, The FA, the Community Channel and press.
Wendy Broomfield DADs FFH Festival Co-ordinator said "it was an amazing experience for the DADs team and officials, the Prime Minister was very supportive of DADS work".
Football shirts sent by streetfootballworld were presented to Gordon Brown PM and Alan Johnson MP, with a shirt also for Nelson Mandela, which Gordon Brown is arranging to be sent directly to him in South Africa. A full press relase and images will be relased.
