Alan Johnson MP a long time supporter of the DADs charity with Wendy Broomfield, the DADs Football for Hope Festival Co-ordinator kick forward the football sent by streetfootballworld (Berlin) towards South Africa and Nelson Mandela.
The ball will travel around the world through the streetfootballworld network and has already been passed to the Prime Minister Gordon Brown in Downing Street this week.
Wendy Broomfield said "its fantastic that we are kicking this ball to Alexandra Township in Johannesburg from the Nelson Mandela Gardens in Hull, it'll be quite a journey and honoured that it has been started by Alan Johnson MP who has already passed this to Gordon Brown in Downing Street."
