DADs get smart when Peter Taylor the Hull City Manager will be handing over the keys for the new smart car on Thursday 22nd April 2004 at 1500hrs, at the KC Stadium Reception.
The Dads Against Drugs organisation is going from strength to strength with the purchase of a new smart car. The Chairman of DADs Rob Broomfield said “this is a smart move for DAD’s, we are expanding our services across the city, the demand for both the football outreach and skills for life programme is increasing and we need to be able to move easily around the city to support our building football communities programme”.
The smart car will carry the DADs logo and www.dadsagainstdrugs.co.uk website details and we hope that this will give the people of Hull the opportunity to recognise the important work that DADs does, Rob Broomfield said ‘DADs is about engaging local communities and motivating them to become involved in a football healthy lifestyles initiative”.
Alex Bustin from smart marketing manager said "we are delighted to supply a smart to such a worthwhile charity. I hope that by choosing such an eye-catching car, DADs will be able to raise their profile even higher within the community".
Peter Taylor, Manager of Hull City said "the DADs football team are now on the road to build football communities across the city, the smart car will advertise and promote the DADs organisation in a positive way".

Notes to the Editor
Established three years ago within a local Neighbourhood Watch group, the DADs football team promotes drug awareness to their children and wider community. DADs has gone from strength-to-strength with three employees, a Football Foundation sponsored Project Co-ordinator and SRB6 Funded Basic Skills Tutor and Administrator. Hull City AFC positively supports the DADs initiative throughout the City of Hull. DAD’s have sponsored Peter Taylor throughout the 2003/2004 season, this has given DADs positive publicity throughout the season.
