It is important to ensure our service addresses community and individual needs, based on their aspirations. By empowering people we can help them to maximise their personal potential. We are innovative and responsive to change. We aim to be the best at what we do - because there is no point at aiming at anything less.
Since its launch in 2001, DAD's has worked on a project-to-project basis, working with motivated and enthusiastic partners, dedicated workers and volunteers. We have applied succesfully for grants, and we have an active fundraising campaign, which complements this process.
There are many examples of beneficiaries succeeding and building a new life away from drugs and crime, and there are genuine volunteers who have gained numerous accredited courses and have experienced new opportunities through DADs work that has led to further education and employment.
Our pioneering community work continues with new projects that meet the increasing demand to tackle the pertinent issues within our communities.
